XMap Web provides the infrastructure for distributing your GIS data online to your users and customers. Create, publish, and maintain your online GIS using XMap Web and share access to your data across your organization or with your customers.
The XMap Web solution allows you to publish your geopsatial data online, account for and manage assets, share your data, and allows organizations to provide detailed maps and routing services to their members.
XMap Web Features:
GIS Data display with attribute query—your data published online, create detailed geographic analysis on your desktop with XMap/GIS (included in XMap Web) and publish data layers to the web in minutes
Database Point Display with custom symbolization—your point data symbolized online
Complex Query Tools—create your own customized queries to best analyze your data, create ‘canned’ queries that any visitor to your XMap Web site can run
Nationwide Roads Dataset—Optional up-to-date vector road data available
Raster Support – Optional satellite and aerial imagery layers
Door-to-door Routing Engine—optional route maps and detailed directions
Data Sharing: XMap Web allows you to share your data online. You can also choose to further distribute your data with XMap Web. The administrator of your XMap Web site can choose to allow specific data layers to be downloaded from XMap Web for viewing in either XMap/GIS Editor or XMap 4.5.
Administration: XMap Web features and data display are controlled by using an XMap/GIS desktop application. Within XMap/GIS administrators can choose what data layers to publish, what data layers are visible on the web site, create queries for web site visitors to run, and much more. Administrators can also access detailed reporting on their XMap Web stats, including information on visitors and sessions.
