Here’s details of a new iPhone GIS app from Quebec-based Fasterre.About Terrapad… “We’ve designed the Terrapad interface around what’s most important: your data. That’s why Terrapad’s map takes up the entire iPhone screen.
Without any distraction or interface clutter, you’re free to pan around and zoom using standard gestures. To interact with your data, a simple tap on the screen brings up a graphical wheel interface, contextual to what you are currently doing. Every icon on the wheel is described simply by tapping and holding.” Using Terrapad, you may browse the ‘extension store’ and download such customized extensions that are relevant to your field of work.The app is currently in Beta and can be found in the iTunes store by searching Terrapad.
