Nantes, France January 7, 2010 -- Magellan Professional today announced that effective immediately its brand name has been changed to Ashtech.
In commenting on the name change, François Erceau, vice-president and general manager said: "We have enjoyed the power of Ashtech in the professional GNSS market, and I am sure the rebirth of the Ashtech name is great news for all our customers and the market in general. To complement the name change, Ashtech is introducing a totally new logo. The new logo conveys the precision our customers expect from our products, and it sports a trendy new look that updates the well-recognized Ashtech brand bringing it firmly into the 21st century.
