The Procurement Policy and IT Procurement Branch is responsible for the development of the government's procurement policy framework, the preparation of requests for proposals and negotiating and managing government-wide contracts for information and information technology (hardware, services and software). The Branch also provides strategic procurement advice, training and services to government ministries and agencies and supports supplier development and the ongoing implementation of Ontario's interprovincial trade agreements.
