Another cool, Geo social media story to share as we've recently stumbled onto the cool, free, map service from ESRI being made available to users of facebook.
Enter the ESRI Facebook Demographic Map Application where you can easily select from a variety of pre-defined variables and get a map back in return.
The app is relatively basic so far, however, just think of the possibilities! A tip-off about this app came via an ESRI Twitter account (naturally). ESRI Make A Map is available as an online web service where users can easily and quickly create and share a simple map. Select your data, customize the map size and layout, add a title and your comments, then connect with your social media outlets or embed the map in your blog or website.
