Come hear from Mississippi's geospatial researchers and entrepreneurs as EIGS partners this year with the Mississippi Technology Alliance (MTA) and the Mississippi Research Consortium (MRC) to present the Tenth Annual Conference on High Technology which is taking place November 18-19, 2009, at the Jackson Convention Complex in Jackson, MS. Being held in conjunction with GIS Day 2009, the Conference will feature special sessions on geospatial information science and technology.
For the first time ever, the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Agricultural Research Service (ARS) joins Mississippi's Annual Technology Conference to celebrate world GIS day by showcasing the agency's cutting-edge technologies.

Day Two of the conference will feature six Breakout Sessions and the Plenary Session which will showcase GIS technology used by the Keesler Air Force Base Hurricane Hunters and the Center for Higher Learning Visualization Center. The conference will conclude with the Luncheon featuring Keynote Speaker Joel Bomgar.
