AggData (aggregate data) serving up data products to enhance your map or mashup

I recently stumbled onto a very clever data resource called AggData (Aggregate data). For anyone needing business POI data, for example Starbucks store locations or a WalMart point file this is a real score!
Searching for data is simple, just click on the Data link and a lengthy list of categories are presented; categories include sports, shopping, business, food and dining and many more. Click on a category and the available datasets are listed along with date of creation/update, file size and prize. Data are provided as a CSV file and a nice touch is a free sample dataset for any product - nice!
Those of you wanting to test the service first, you can easily download some of the free datasets including a list of locations of Fortune 500 companies, US Zip Codes and several others. Users familiar with importing simple ASCII point data files will have trouble working with these data.
For an example use of a clever map created with AggData see this blog post where we share some details of a map showing users their proximity to a McDonalds restaurant
