 DCIcT was selected because of its simple user experience and management process for their mobile deployments so that each field worker did not require large amounts of training or specialist devices to capture as much information as possible about new and existing infrastructure throughout each department.

Thiess has rolled out the DCIcT for their Property Condition Surveys using Trimble Juno SC field devices. They are able to quickly download their daily projects, access only the GIS data they need for that project directly over the network (Cell/WiFi)  without having to go to the office every time, and they can upload their work throughout the day ensuring that nothing is lost.
