GeoAlberta 2004 Conference; Exploring the Possibilities
Written by Glenn Letham (GISuser editor)
Friday, 28 May 2004
This year’s theme – Exploring the Possibilities – speaks directly to all GIS users from the professional to the non-expert. As usual, the conference provides opportunities and networking across many sectors: heavy industry, utilities, retail business, and public management and service delivery.
The organizing committee has taken care to ensure that every participant – no matter what their level of expertise – will enjoy a high-quality learning experience.
Participants will have an opportunity to join over 500 professionals in three days of workshops, educational sessions and exhibits from state-of-the-art product and service providers. And, of course, the social/networking events are as valuable and enjoyable as the sessions.
June 8th - 10th, 2004 Shaw Conference Centre Edmonton, AB
