A Montana Economic Boost S&K Technologies, Inc. Purchases Controlling Shares of TerraEchos, Inc.

Saint Ignatius, MT - S&K Technologies, Inc. (S&K) purchased controlling shares of TerraEchos, Inc. in an effort to diversify capabilities in the area of security. Terms of the purchase were not disclosed.
TerraEchos, Inc. is a Montana-based company providing the AdelosT sensor system, an advanced covert intelligence and surveillance sensor system protecting high value critical infrastructure, monitoring sensitive perimeters, and securing vulnerable borders. TerraEchos is a preeminent leader in intelligence, surveillance, and intrusion detection and monitoring technology. The company is commercializing this technology to meet growing government and private sector security demands in various sectors. "We are thrilled about this investment," reports Tom Acevedo, CEO of S&K. "TerraEchos has a superior product in the Adelos system." The Adelos sensor system, which uses proprietary technology developed by the Naval Undersea Warfare Center - Newport, is a combination of hardware, software, and services that together form a highly effective and advanced sensor security system. The Adelos sensor information architecture is based on the premise of delivering reliable, mission critical intelligence and surveillance alert data to the right people at the right time across the enterprise.
The Adelos system is wholly developed by Montana-based small businesses. The hardware components are manufactured by S&K Electronics, a company owned by the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes and based out of Pablo, Montana. The geospatial software system components are developed by GCS Research, based out of Missoula, MT.
