SuperGIS Image Server is the huge image server software, enabling enterprises to centrally manage, maintain, publish large quantities of image data and providing high speed streaming and On-the-fly Image.
Classify Pixel is one of the image processing functions provided by SuperGIS Image Server. The aim of Classify Pixel is to reduce the number of image pixels and enable users to recognize the specific information of each image clearly. Classify Pixel can divide pixels into different groups by some common features; by setting the ranges of different continuous bands, the unnecessary pixels can be separated to produce the images with specific and clear information. For example, the range of vegetation or the waters distribution in the image processed with Classify Pixel can be easily recognized.
Additionally, in order to make the specific information of images be distinguished easily, Classify Pixel can transfer a color image with multiband to a Binary Image and also reinterpret the raw image with the two colors, black and white. As a result, the display of the image will be simple and easy to identify.
Since an image produced by Classify Pixel can present some single information only, users can produce numerous Classify Pixel images from the source images for various image analyses to meet different needs.
