RFI - Technical Professional Services for Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Data Services
The US Forest Service is seeking/targeting qualified Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses, HUBZone Small Businesses, SBA 8(a) Disadvantaged Small Businesses or any other small business that have the capability and capacity to complete the requirements stated below in this RFI.

The US Forest Service anticipates awarding a five year indefinite delivery indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract; during the five year period we estimate task orders totaling $25 million, the NAICS code is 541330 Architect and Engineering Services.
The following services are needed:
Data entry and conversion - including scanning or manually digitizing source materials to produce vector or raster data, along with related activities such as attribution or metadata generation.
Data integration and processing - integrating and formatting data from various sources, such as: legacy Forest Service data, Global Positioning System (GPS) files, Computer Assisted Design (CAD) files, data from other data providers (commercial and government), etc.) for inclusion in Forest Service GIS databases.
Database linking - linking existing attribute and other tabular databases to spatial data.
Technical services - providing support for geospatial training and on-site geospatial technical assistance, database design, spatial analysis, technology integration, map creation tools, and applications testing and development.
