The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) intends to award several contracts under BAA1582-09-BAA-0006 in several specific research topics all pertaining to Advancing Image and Geospatial Analysis (AIGA) Program.

The AIGA effort will conduct research and develop software to solve some of NGA's pressing and hard geospatial intelligence problems relating to target identification, scene characterization, change detection, as well as pattern discovery and analysis of competitive hypotheses. AIGA focuses on critical mathematical and scientific research to develop advanced capabilities that will significantly enhance data exploitation methods and solve these problems.
