Prompt GmbH (Munich, Germany) will release V4.2 of PromptServer, the scaleable image processing server at the ASPRS Conference in Denver, Colorado (23 – 28 May, Exhibit Hall, stand 509)
PromptServer® is the client-server based image management, processing and distribution solution for fast access to huge and complex geo-image datasets.
With PromptServer, near-instant access to any part of huge virtual image datasets are available to multiple users within most CAD/GIS, Intra/Internet applications.
PromptServer enables the primary imagery to be stored and utilizes powerful dynamic processing chains to produce multiple products on-the-fly, each with different complex radiometric and geometric processing and compression options.
New in V4.2 are enhancements in the speed and functionality of the On-the-Fly, Projection transformation and Ortho-rectification PlugIns, while the Terrain PlugIn has been enhanced to better handle seamless SRTM data.
