I just love maps... and I really dig it when maps wind up in the newspaper, in ads, as fun web mapping apps, on signs etc... here's a cool and fun map from the Longmont, CO newspaper
One again, more awesome Geo Technology being used and shared with others here on the CO Front Range! Thanks to a Twitter contact of mine @GISPathway for tipping me off to a very cool cartoon mapping application that appeared today in the Longmont TimesCall.com - the site is serving up a cool, interactive cartoon map.
The app is divided into 4 quadrants and when you click one you get more details. then you can mouse over the 3D buildings to get more information on the local businesses.. simple, fun, and very effective… well done!!
