Decatur, AL - November 10, 2008 - The Tennessee Valley Corridor, Inc. (TVC) has named Tom Counts, President of Decatur, Ala. based 3-GIS to its Board of Directors. Counts was appointed to represent Congressman Robert Aderholt and Alabama's Fourth Congressional District on the TVC Board.
Tom Counts has over 25 years of experience and education in product development, project management, and organizational operations management. As President and Chief Executive Officer of 3-GIS, a premiere Systems Integrator for Automated Mapping and Facilities' Management needs, Counts has helped create and launch the company from its first day of inception and is responsible for all aspects of the organization with a focus on sales, marketing, and channel development. Since launching the company in 2006, 3-GIS has grown to 25 employees with over 25 different GIS-involved customers ranging from emergency response to electric transmission to telecom services.
