A series of 2 technology events are scheduled to kick-off next week in Vancouver, BC, Canada. First up... NAVTEQ Executive Breakfast Seminar: "The Future of LBS" . Professionals are encouraged to attend this brief business seminar to gain expert insights on the emerging business models that will impact the location based services (LBS) industry. The second is a NAVTEQ Technical Workshop titled "Real-Time Development of LBS using MapTP". Thos who attend this half day technical workshop will learn to understand how you can leverage NAVTEQ’s MapTP platform to create a location based solution. The workshop begins with an introduction to the MapTP and then a real-time creation of a location based solution will illustrate the usage of many components of the platform.
