ObjectFX Announces Availability of DoD and DHS Symbology Module

September 4, 2008 – ObjectFX, a leading geospatial solutions provider, has announced the availability of its military and homeland security symbology module.
The module is a scalable, flexible web-based solution based on the Department of Defense Standard 2525B as well as standard Homeland Security symbology and can be implemented with any geospatial platform, including ESRI and Google technologies.

November 19, 2008 Lakewood, CO- Digital Data Services, Inc. (DDS) announced that it has been awarded a contract with the State of Colorado Department of Natural Resources-Colorado Geological Survey for data conversion and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) data delivery.

Chicago, IL- November 19, 2008 – NAVTEQ announced the registration deadline for the NAVTEQ Global LBS Challenge has been extended one week from November 28, 2008 to Friday, December 5, 2008 for the Americas region. A completed solution is not required at the time of registration. All Americas registrants will have until January 2, 2009 to submit their solutions. The winners of the Global LBS Challenge – Americas will be announced during CTIA in Las Vegas on April 2, 2009.
