Federal Programs Gains New Senior GIS Project Manager
Dallas, TX — August 20, 2008 - The Dallas office of Dewberry recently welcomed Scott Trotter as a senior geographic information systems (GIS) project manager. Trotter is an industry veteran with over 20 years of experience working within military and federal agencies, including stints with the U.S. Army Forces Command, U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ), the U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA), and the Naval Oceanographic Office. In his new role, Trotter will join Dewberry’s federal programs division.
Trotter is a highly qualified technology manager with expertise in program management, large-scale system design, integration, and logistical support analysis with a focus on geospatial products, services, databases, and development using GIS. Known for his strong background in business development and contract management experience servicing GIS products, he has acted as a consultant to federal, state, and local governments, environmental firms, and private sector clientele for various programs throughout his career. Trotter will be in charge of growing Dewberry’s geospatial practice in the southwestern United States. He has held both U.S. Department of Defense Secret clearance and DOJ/DEA clearance.
