City of Pearland, Texas Selects GTG to Upgrade Public Safety Software to ArcGIS Server

GOLDSBORO, N.C. – Geographic Technologies Group, Inc. (GTG) announces that the City of Pearland, Texas has procured GIS software from GTG. The City is upgrading their Viewer, Crimes, and Dispatch software to the ArcGIS Server environment. This upgrade will enhance the City’s ability to protect its community.
LG Geo Blade Viewer provides a set of GIS tools in a simple, easy-to-use desktop application. It allows for visualization of land management information such as utility meters, occupational licenses, work orders, building permits, and code enforcement violations. Local government professionals have long desired the ability to map and analyze the spatial distribution of all data that is tracked within their enterprise IT systems. LG Geo Blade Viewer is designed to GIS-enable corporate databases in tandem with existing GIS data to provide a powerful set of tools for visualization and analysis.
LG Geo Blade Crimes is designed to give Police and Sheriff departments the ability to make intelligent decisions that will help make their city or county a safer place to live. It also gives public safety users the ability to create pin maps for incidents, accidents, arrests, citations, and sexual predators in a seamless GIS interface that directly connects to an organization’s Crime Record Management databases. This application gives users the ability to run geographic analysis for crime trends, generate high quality incident reports, and print maps with crime data.
LG Geo Blade Dispatch is a mapping interface that provides E-911 dispatchers with an interactive map displaying the location of emergency calls. It is highly customizable and allows dispatchers to enter special events to display on the screen. The application has the ability to perform historic call mapping, historic AVL mapping, and E-911 call mapping. Geo Blade Dispatch is AVL enabled and Phase II compliant.
