Spatial Insights, Inc. announces the release of Freeway 2008 and Freeway 2008 Premium, the industry standard drive time applications from Applied Spatial Technology, Inc.
Freeway creates drive time polygons, as well as output tables of drive times and drive distances between multiple origins and multiple destinations. Freeway is widely used in site selection to delineate trade areas, and to analyze spatial relationships between locations based on drive time and distance.
Enhanced with the most up-to-date street networks, Freeway 2008 and Freeway 2008 Premium offer increased accuracy to help solve spatial challenges, delineate trade areas, and analyze demographics. Offering complete seamless nationwide coverage for the United States and Canada, Freeway 2008 US was developed using current year TIGER data; current year Statistics Canada data was used for Freeway 2008 Canada; Freeway 2008 Premium uses 2007 Q4 NAVTEQ data for both countries. A UK/Ireland version of Freeway is also available.
“We feel that the Freeway 2008 suite of products offers the fastest and most accurate drive time analysis capability available,” said Don Segal, Spatial Insights president. “The annual update which incorporates the most recent road networks reinforces our commitment to provide the most accurate and user-friendly analytic products available.” In addition to the standard stand-alone software purchases, Freeway 2008 and Freeway 2008 Premium are available as a software development kit, allowing the drive time analysis functionality to be embedded within other applications, or the development of fully customized drive time applications.
