AAMHatch Standardizes on Intergraph Photogrammetry Solutions with Acquisition of Third Large-Format Digital Mapping Camera
HUNTSVILLE, Ala., July 8, 2008 - AAMHatch, one of Asia Pacific's largest spatial information providers, has standardized on Intergraph® photogrammetry technology with the purchase of its third large-format Intergraph Z/I Imaging Digital Mapping Camera (DMC®). The new DMC with Intergraph's innovative Solid State Disk (SSD) storage solution will meet the growing demands of AAMHatch's image acquisition contracts by speeding workflows through instant downloading capabilities and faster image analysis.
"The quality of imagery and the adaptability of the data have long been standout features of the DMC, and with the new built-in digital image storage capability, we have standardized our aerial photography hardware on Intergraph photogrammetry solutions," said Brian Nicholls, General Manager, AAMHatch. "We are constantly looking to provide our customers with even higher resolution and greater, more current imagery, so it is imperative that our hardware is able to deliver for our clients."
In addition to providing superior quality imagery, Intergraph's earth imaging solutions feature a convenient, all-inclusive suite of technologies including digital aerial cameras, flight management and post-processing systems, photogrammetric workstations and a full photogrammetric data exploitation software suite. Users of Intergraph's end-to-end photogrammetry solutions benefit from ease of use, data accuracy, precision and high-performance throughput from project start to finish.
"AAMHatch's standardization on the DMC affirms Intergraph's market-leading position in photogrammetry throughout Asia Pacific and the world," said Peter Russell Smith, managing director, Security, Government and Infrastructure, Intergraph Australia. "Intergraph's photogrammetry solutions have a clear advantage in the marketplace, enabling the seamless capture and processing of superior, high-quality digital imagery."
The Intergraph DMC was the industry's first large-format frame digital aerial camera and the first to be certified by the United States Geological Survey. Intergraph also offered the industry's first airborne SSD storage system, which allows customers to lower operating costs and take on more projects through the use of smaller aircraft for image acquisition.
