Avineon Promotes Three Industry Veterans within its Geospatial Division

Alexandria, Va.– June 25, 2008 – Avineon, Inc.,a successful provider of IT, geospatial, engineering and program management services, today announced three major promotions within its Geospatial Division.
Al Williamson has been named Director of Operations – Utilities, David Ridderikhoff has been appointed Director of Business Development – Geospatial Solutions, and Tom Finkhousen has been promoted to Project Manager. In their new roles, Williamson, Ridderikhoff and Finkhousen will continue to help Avineon’s customers increase operational effectiveness and efficiency through the implementation of geographic information services (GIS) and related applications.

Formerly Manager of Project Development, Williamson has acquired extensive experience as a civil engineering draftsman, computer-aided design (CAD) operator and shift supervisor, programmer and software analyst since 1967. He has been involved with computer graphics systems since 1980, and has been exclusively dedicated to AM/FM and GIS projects since 1983. Leveraging more than 29 years of industry experience, Williamson will oversee Avineon’s utility projects, managing financial and resource planning in addition to providing consulting services in technical, managerial and administrative processes and procedures.
As Director of Business Development – Geospatial Solutions, Ridderikhoff will lead Avineon’s Geospatial Services sales efforts focusing on North American utility companies, establishing and managing partnerships as well as conducting strategic business and marketing planning. He has 27 years of experience in the GIS industry.
Building upon his experience as Technical Project Coordinator, Finkhousen will now have full authority for administration and execution of GIS projects, including contract administration, budgeting, schedule adherence, production monitoring, and deliverable quality. He began work in the industry in 1987, and has served in a supervisory capacity since 1989.
