As SRTM data are made available to the public they are served up on the FTP site from the USGS. Under agreement with NASA, the USGS EROS Data Center distributes and archives SRTM data in accordance with a joint partnership Memorandum of Understanding between NASA and NGA.
Media (CD): SRTM data is also available via media (CD) for a cost-to-produce fee which is $32 per CD, plus $45 CD processing, and $5. shipping.
