Intelligent Direct Introduces Comprehensive Direct Marketing Tools and Data for Targeting Neighborhoods
NEW YORK, NY – June 10, 2008 – Intelligent Direct, the market leader in mapping and data services for businesses, announced today the introduction of a comprehensive tool and data set for use by direct marketers who need to accurately and quantitatively target neighborhoods. These tools feature access to Urbanware Neighborhoods™, Urban Mapping’s database product of 40,000 U.S. neighborhood boundaries found in more than 2,000 cities and towns, as well as Claritas demographics and data with NAVTEQ Streets and mapping layers. The tool set supports direct marketing applications that require accurate geocoding and data analysis, as well as mapping and web-based information systems. The announcement was made at the DM Days New York Conference & Expo, which is being held June 10-12 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York City.
Direct marketers use the collection of Intelligent Direct tools and data to achieve the most accurate quantitative information and analysis available for neighborhood level decision making. With programs that deliver better results at lower costs, direct marketing managers will be able to make more informed decisions for their business.
“Our work over the last 20 years shows that many direct marketing programs benefit from neighborhood level data management and analysis. The tools and data set that we have introduced allow direct marketers to access neighborhood level precision with the most accurate data available. The combination of Urban Mapping’s Urbanware Neighborhoods and Claritas data with NAVTEQ mapping geographies is their best choice,” said Dan Olasin, Intelligent Direct’s president and founder.
Olasin added, “Intelligent Direct applies proprietary technologies for precisely projecting data into neighborhoods and small geographies. We can demonstrate the differences in neighborhood level analysis. For target marketing, direct mail program management, and other direct marketing applications, our clients have the tool sets and neighborhood data best suited for their applications.”
Ian White, Urban Mapping CEO, commented: “We are impressed by Intelligent Direct’s experience in creating geography-based solutions for businesses. Additionally, their leadership in developing neighborhood-focused solutions makes them an ideal provider of services leveraging our Urbanware neighborhood boundary data, for direct marketing applications.”
