Carlsbad, CA May 13, 2008 – TC Technology, a leader in Mobile GIS, announces that Southern Nevada Water Authority (SNWA) has selected GO! Sync Mobile GIS in support of its asset inventory initiatives.
SNWA selected the software because of its intuitive user interface, comprehensive inspection capabilities, flexible configurations, and seamless extension of geographic information system (GIS).
The selection equips field personnel responsible for an asset inventory collection with fit-for-purpose GIS capability. Using GO! Sync’s Inspection Extension, workers easily collect data using simple drop-down forms powered by GIS without inefficient paper processes. Collected asset information automatically uploads into the enterprise GIS when devices are on-line further streamlining the procedures.
“We needed a reliable, enterprise field mapping package that not only could meet our immediate inventory-collection requirements, but also support future mobile GIS initiatives,” states Jason Schwartz, Principal GIS Analyst. “In making our selection, we field tested GO! Sync and are pleased with the promising results. We expect an immediate ROI once deployed.”
GO! Sync Mapbook with Inspection and Redline Extension is a complete mobile solution built for organizations invested in ESRI's ArcGIS software. Rendering directly from a geodatabase and providing a suite of GPS-enabled, field-friendly tools such as searching, tracing, inspecting, and redlining, GO!
