Richmond, VA – May 7, 2008 – Timmons Group, an industry-leading Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) consulting and solutions provider, announced today that the firm has hired Marty Demblowski as a Systems Implementation Consultant within the Richmond, Virginia-based firm’s Infrastructure Solutions practice.

Mr. Demblowski brings more than 19 years of asset management and maintenance experience.  Most recently, Marty served as a Project Manager with the Allegheny County, Pennsylvania (Pittsburgh) Public Works Department and was responsible for the management and implementation of the agency’s highly regarded Cityworks (Azteca Systems, Inc.) asset maintenance management solution.  In his six years with the County, Marty was instrumental in ensuring his agency was recognized as one of the top three public works agencies in the United States. He guided the first County in Pennsylvania to an American Public Works Agency (APWA) accreditation and a spotlight in a national asset management seminar series by the Environmental Systems Research Institute (ESRI) that highlighted the business value of spatially-enabling asset management functions.  Marty’s first-hand experience satisfying the varied needs of local government agencies and their constituents adds another level of expertise to an already talented Timmons Group Enterprise Asset Management Team.

Prior to his work with asset management solutions, Marty was an operations manager for a manufacturing and distribution company where he developed his expertise in manufacturing maintenance, procurement, and inventory control processes.   Marty is based in Timmons Group’s Pittsburgh office.
