VELOCITIE Awarded Contract from Dakota Electric Association for Cityworks Implementation, Data Migration and GIS Implementation Support
Green Bay, Wisconsin – May 6, 2008, VELOCITIE Integration, Inc., a leading provider of integrated enterprise GIS solutions, announced a new contract with Dakota Electric Association (DEA) to provide a variety of services including Cityworks Implementation and Integration Services, Data Migration Services, and GIS Implementation Support Services.
The Cityworks Implementation project involves the following: Development of a Cityworks Pilot System Cityworks End-user and Administrator Training Cityworks Product Configuration and Support Integration of Cityworks with several DEA systems including CIS, Financials, and Engineering Design.
The Data Migration project will move data from a variety of legacy data sources and will programmatically clean up key aspects of the data to ensure a consistently accurate data platform for the integrated enterprise components. VELOCITIE will also be providing implementation support and project management services during the entire project.
VELOCITIE has been working closely with DEA since August 2006 and previously provided a number of services for DEA including: Project Charter, Needs Assessment and Go Forward Planning Business Workflow Process Documentation System Requirements and Functional Gap Analysis Environment Planning, System Architecture and High-Level Design Data Modeling and Data Mapping Master Project Plan Development
