IDV Solutions Expands Executive Team, Responds to Growth   PDF  Print  E-mail
Written by IDV Solutions
Wednesday, 26 March 2008
Lansing, MI – March 24, 2008 IDV Solutions, a leading provider of visual composite application software, today announced the expansion of its executive team with the appointment of Scott Parker as Vice President of Sales and Channels.

The new leadership hire reflects the posture for growth as the company’s products and services are in demand in a variety of business sectors.  Mr. Parker will be based out of the new IDV Solutions Washington DC based office.  The fast adoption by the federal government has required a local presence to work directly with customers, system integrators and technology partners in the DC area.

"We have known for quite some time that we needed to establish a permanent presence in the Washington, D.C. area,” said Mark Morrison, CEO and co-founder of IDV Solutions.  “Scott’s relationships, his combination of software sales expertise and channel development success in the DC area as well as Microsoft eco-system experience, give us strong confidence of reaching our growth potential.”

Parker has more than 25 years of experience in the information technology market including software and service companies like EDS, Integic, Documentum, and Meridio.

"IDV Solutions is in an ideal position to service most of the 100 million Microsoft SharePoint customers who could use a visual composite application”, said Parker.  “I believe the geospatial market is ripe for IDV’s web 2.0 and SOA based technology.”

On the potential for government business, Parker said, “In the government sector, the federal E-Gov initiative includes the Geospatial Line of Business. IDV Solutions will make it easier and less expensive to meet key objectives of this important effort.”

Parker joins IDV Solutions after serving in key management roles for sales, marketing and partner development for both federal and commercial markets.  Over the span of his career, Parker has also served in support, operations, sales, marketing, and channel development with CACI, EDS, Integic, EMC-Documentum, and Meridio-Autonomy.  He has a MBA from George Washington University and a Bachelor’s in Business Adminstration from West Virginia University.
