KOREM proudly announces MapInfo Corporation as Push’n’See distributor  E-mail
Written by KOREM
29 April 2004
Quebec, April 29, 2004 / KOREM Inc., leader in the development and the integration of Web-mapping technology, today announces that the leading provider of location intelligence solutions for the enterprise, MapInfo Corporation, will resell KOREM’s flagship product Push’n’See.

Push’n’See provides a “visual programming interface” for MapInfo’s MapXtreme users and allows for organizations to easily coordinate and control the broadcast and sharing of their spatial information on the Web.

MapInfo is constantly improving its location intelligence solutions offer. By adding the Push’n’See technology to it, MapInfo is providing a solution that makes the geospatial potential simpler to integrate and that complies with general IT standards. This recent agreement allows for MapInfo Corporation to distribute and sell Push’n’See directly and through its partner network.

“As MapInfo’s 2003 Canadian Partner of the Year, KOREM is a proven developer of products that enhance the power of our location intelligence solutions,” said Gavin Lennox, group vice president, sales and marketing, MapInfo. “By offering KOREM’s Push‘n’See product to our customer base, developers will be able to reduce deployment time for creating customizable, Java-based Web-mapping applications that can be accessed via the Internet or intranet.”

Organizations are more and more acknowledging geospatial technology as a component of their current IT infrastructure. Push’n’See enables developers and integrators to rapidly handle the spatial aspect of their applications. A technology like Push’n’See demystifies Web-mapping; reduces the risk involved in development to a minimum by offering, “out-of-the-box”, the required functionalities.

Push’n’See is a unique and complete studio that brings further the concept of Web-mapping providing MapInfo users with a powerful tool to manage, design and deploy multiple on-line mapping applications.

“KOREM is proud to have MapInfo Corporation able to deliver our solution bundled with MapXtreme Java to their customer base” says Luc Vaillancourt, V.P. Business Development, KOREM. “Recent wins together, confirm the uniqueness of the whole solution”.
