Pictometry FutureView 2008 Set for Oct. 27-29  E-mail

25 March 2008
Call for Presentations Opens to Pictometry Customers and Business Partners

ROCHESTER, NY – March 25, 2008– Pictometry International Corp., a leading provider of geo-referenced aerial image libraries whose patented technology is used globally to capture oblique image libraries, announces its third annual Pictometry FutureView™ 2008, taking place October 27-29, 2008 at the Marriott River Center in San Antonio, Texas. FutureView is the only user conference of its kind, focused exclusively on geo-referenced oblique aerial imaging technology.

With this announcement, Pictometry also invites subject matter experts, as well as Pictometry customers and partnering companies, to submit presentation ideas for the 2008 event. This Call for Presentations will run through May 1, 2008. Interested applicants are invited to submit their presentation ideas to Pictometry by contacting their District Manager or submitting ideas to company headquarters in Rochester, NY.

Pictometry’s annual FutureView conference features exhibits from Pictometry business partners and an array of interactive sessions that highlight uses for the company’s geospatial technology in areas such as 9-1-1, GIS, assessing, disaster response and recovery, emergency management, fire, homeland security, and others. In addition, the conference’s signature draw consists of a unique cross-section of users who come to share success stories and compelling uses for Pictometry technologies. “Pictometry users may come from a variety of backgrounds but they share a common view of Pictometry as a resource and a common passion for innovative solutions,” said Pictometry’s Chief Marketing Officer Dante Pennacchia. “FutureView is really an occasion for a community of Pictometry users to come together and share incredible applications and ROI stories that inspire others and literally change the way people work.”

GIS Manager Jack Maguire from Lexington County, South Carolina agrees. “The best way to describe FutureView is to say, it’s like riding a rocket,” said Maguire. “From the networking opportunities to sessions that will just ‘wow’ you, it’s a conference dedicated to the technology
that’s changing the way we live and work in our county.”

Pictometry will announce the agenda for FutureView 2008 later this Spring. For more on FutureView, visit www.pictometry.com/futureview .
