MapInfo Resells KOREM’s Customizable Web-mapping Solution for Developers  E-mail
Written by MapInfo
23 April 2004
TROY, NYApril 22, 2004MapInfo Corporation (NASDAQ: MAPS), the leading provider of location intelligence solutions for the enterprise, today announced that it will resell KOREM’s Push‘n’See customizable Web-mapping solution for use with MapXtreme® Java™ Edition and MapInfo Professional®  in the United States and Canada.

By enabling the publication of MapInfo Workspaces as content for Web-mapping applications, Push‘n’See empowers users with a rapid application development tool for distributing mapping applications to multiple users across an organization.

For MapXtreme Java Edition, Push‘n’See provides a single administrative programming interface, enabling users with customizable design and deployment options to create Web-based mapping applications. The Push‘n’See management console also features storage and management of file data between mapping applications and an administrative module for the managing of user groups and configuration settings.

“MapInfo’s location intelligence solutions enable users to make more informed business, organizational and administrative decisions,” said Luc Vaillancourt, vice president, Business Development, KOREM. “With rapid application development capabilities provided by Push‘n’See, MapInfo users are able to more efficiently create and deploy Web-mapping applications that can be accessed across an organization.”

Push‘n’See enables MapInfo Professional users to create customized, Java-based mapping applications. Due to its unique visual programming interface, Push‘n’See allows even novice Java developers to quickly integrate mapping functionality into applications. Push‘n’See is the ideal tool for real-time development, design and deployment of MapInfo Workspace files and data on the Internet.

“As MapInfo’s 2003 Canadian Partner of the Year, KOREM is a proven developer of products that enhance the power of our location intelligence solutions,” said Gavin Lennox, group vice president, sales and marketing, MapInfo. “By offering KOREM’s Push‘n’See product to our customer base, developers will be able to reduce deployment time for creating customizable, Java-based Web-mapping applications that can be accessed via the Internet or intranet.”
