 Agreement Provides Access to NAVTEQ(R) Map Data for 72 Countries

     LAS VEGAS, Jan. 7 -- NAVTEQ (NYSE: NVT), a leading global provider of digital map data for location-based solutions and vehicle navigation, announced today from the 2008 International Consumer Electronics Show that Yahoo! has expanded its relationship with NAVTEQ to include access to all 72 countries in the NAVTEQ map database. 

    "Ensuring the accuracy of our mapping data is key to making Yahoo! Maps a simple and user-friendly experience for the millions of people who use our product each month, and NAVTEQ shares our same commitment to quality," said Jeremy Kreitler, director of product management, Yahoo! Maps.  "As we continue to expand the range of sites that integrate Yahoo! Maps, particularly in the mobile and international areas, NAVTEQ's single global specification makes integration simple and allows us to put more of our focus on building great products."

    NAVTEQ map data spans 72 countries and territories on six continents.  The NAVTEQ database optimizes the location services available on Yahoo! by providing rich map content for routing accuracy.
