Spatial Business Systems Announces Integration Solution for ESRI’s ArcGIS and Smallworld GIS

GIS solution provider extends open integration tools based on Safe Software FME product.
Lakewood, CO—Spatial Business Systems Inc. announced that they are extending their current Smallworld GIS spatial interoperability tools to support the recently announced ESRI ArcGIS Data Interoperability extension and Safe Software’s Feature Manipulation Engine (FME) product. This enables users of ESRI’s ArcGIS 9.0 Desktop applications to directly access information that is stored in the Smallworld Version Managed Datastore (VMDS). The solution is based on the Safe Software plug-in architecture and provides seamless interoperability to all organizations that require open access to geospatial data.
