2008 TOC Conference Will Turn the Page on Publishing Technology

Sebastopol, CA, November 7, 2007--Early registration is now open for the O'Reilly Tools of Change for Publishing (TOC) Conference, taking place February 11-13, 2008 at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York City. The TOC conference is for people who are passionate about books and book publishing. For its second year, the conference has relocated from the West Coast to the East Coast to be closer to the heart of the book publishing industry. Expected to attend are over 500 publishers, authors, agents, marketing and production managers, consultants, business managers, librarians, academics, and technologists.
The conference will emphasize practical/tactical information and knowledge transfer so that attendees come away armed with skills to lead change within their own organization. The three day conference will consist of plenary and keynote presentations that frame the visions of publishing's future into a meaningful picture and focused, expert-led breakout sessions covering both analysis and practical advice.
