Last April, 2007,in a period of only 3 weeks time, Aerodata International Surveys successfully completed the newest countrywide digital aerial data acquisition of the Netherlands.
The imagery has been processed into a seamless orthophoto database of an area of over 40.000 km2
For acquiring the aerial photography Aerodata used multiple UltraCam-D large format digital camera’s.
The colour orthophoto mosaic at 40 cm ground resolution is colour balanced and shows a very high level of detail. The use of the digital camera leads to significant improvement of the final product with respect to image clarity, brightness, contrast and visibility of details in shadow areas. The product has been checked on quality by an independent party and shows very accurate geometrical accuracies.
The aeroGRID® NL2007 product is now available for delivery in true colour and/or in colour infrared versions.
