WASHINGTON, DC. (October 9, 2007) – HotPads.com today announced the launch of its online advertising programs, featuring location-based advertising on its nationwide street-level maps.
For the first time ever, select advertisers can place their company’s logo and customized link to individual retail locations directly onto the map view of HotPads’ real estate search portal.
"Map-based advertising is the best way for companies to move beyond traditional banner ads and leverage the strength of their retail locations," said Darrell Pierre, Director of Business Development at HotPads. "Companies can use this platform to make their bank branches, stores and restaurants an integral part of a customer’s lifestyle in their new home."
In addition to map insertion advertising, HotPads.com now also offers traditional display advertising. This includes full banners, skyscrapers, leaderboards and squares in a variety of creative sizes.
HotPads is a premier marketing vehicle for companies looking to target movers during the housing search process. While most web publishers offer geographic targeting based on a user’s location, HotPads allows advertisers to direct ads towards those places where users are searching for housing, and will be moving to.
