COLUMBIA, SC – Eye-Sys®, a revolutionary data-driven, real-time visualization system, has been offered to select user communities in a mature beta form.
In preparation for the software’s commercial launch, expected in the fourth quarter of 2007, beta testers are invited to www.eye-sys.com to download the software and view a short movie which depicts Eye-Sys in action, visualizing systems from numerous scientific and engineering disciplines in real-time.
“Eye-Sys delivers a revolutionary answer to the many challenges of real-time visualization,” said Michael Sechrest, President of Interactive Data Visualization. “With Eye-Sys, virtually any data can be imported, manipulated and visualized in real-time.” The software has been used and tested extensively to solve real-world problems at the US Dept. of Defense, leading technology firms and top universities around the world. The release of the Beta 3 version of Eye- Sys follows two earlier rounds of extensive use and beta testing by IDV’s customers.
“We are looking for feedback from this new round of beta testers, of course,” said Mr. Sechrest, “but in exchange, we are providing 45 days free use of a robust, well-documented software package that has already brought dramatic success to an advanced user base.”
Eye-Sys, expected to license at less than $5,000 (USD) per seat, offers real-time interoperability with external applications like Matlab/Simulink, video and image generation, JavaScript-based scripting, as well as an option for a comprehensive C++/.NET SDK – permitting programmers to add custom functionality to Eye-Sys.
“We are inviting a diverse but targeted group of users to apply the Eye-Sys beta version to realworld visualization challenges,” said Mr. Sechrest. “We hope they will explore its deep functionality, let us know how it did and be a part of our software’s ongoing improvement as we prepare for commercial launch.”
