RMSI Voted Top 5 Amongst Best Indian IT Employers for the fifth year in a row

NEWARK CA, September 18, 2007: RMSI continues to expand a reputation as one of India’s employers of choice, as evidenced by the Dataquest-IDC Annual Survey of the Best Indian Employers in IT.
For the fifth year running, RMSI has been spotlighted among the leaders in the annual “Top Twenty” ranking, this year finishing in 4th position.
Employee satisfaction, career development, and corporate governance are among the factors considered in a survey of thousands of employees. When asked if they could answer “yes” to whether theirs is a “dream” job at a “dream” company, nearly four of five RMSI employees (79.8%) concurred. This was the tops among the twenty companies ranked. RMSI was runner-up in the categories of “Organizational Culture” and “Company Image.”
This was a vote of employee confidence for RMSI. The company’s performance across all employee satisfaction parameters was extremely consistent. Employees participating in the survey expressed high satisfaction on issues such as flexibility of work hours, career growth opportunity and development, and company culture.
RMSI Human Resources chief Gagan Jyot believes she knows why her company scores high in such competitions -- because the workforce is largely satisfied with daily job duties associated with geographic information systems (GIS). “They are not working on mundane application development, and are able to find more technically challenging work,” she said.
