GeoWeb 2007 was held July 23-27, 2007, in Vancouver, British Columbia.

Event highlights included a guest speaker address by Vinton Cerf, a founding father of the Internet, and keynote addresses by Michael Jones, Google Earth CTO, Jack Dangermond, ESRI President, and Geoff Zeiss, Autodesk Director of Technology, Enterprise Solutions Architecture Infrastructure Solutions. In addition, conference attendees will be emailed a password granting them access to the proceedings from the 50 + paper presentations.

The year’s conference also featured 14 interactive workshops, four exciting Spark panel sessions, and a Vendor’s Spotlight and exhibit floor, showcasing the very latest in GeoWeb technologies.

The conference reception took place on Wednesday evening at the Vancouver Museum and was attended by nearly all conference goers. The dinner was punctuated by floor-to-ceiling views of English Bay and a private waterfront terrace, allowing attendees prime seating for the International Celebration of Light fireworks display.
