Provides Unprecedented Ability to Monitor, Correlate and Analyze Status of GIS-Mapped Elements in Real-Time, Trigger Field Service Dispatch and Other Businesswide Actions
Seattle, WA - April 25, 2004 – SPATIALinfo and Auspice Corporation demonstrated how the combination of real-time operations automation and AM/FM/GIS/CAD (automated mapping, facilities management, geospatial information systems and computer-aided design) provide the telecommunications, cable, utility, network design and construction, and land information markets with unprecedented levels of operations reliability and efficiency. Working in unison, the companies’ SPATIALnet™ and Auspice TLX® System Integration and Operations Automation Platform products enable users of mapping systems to view the real-time status of mapped elements and to have mapping information databases dynamically updated in real time. The mapping systems can be based on AutoCAD’s Autodesk, Bentley's Microstation and other popular software products.
Here at the GITA (Geospatial Information Technology Association) Annual Conference and Exhibition, SPATIALinfo and Auspice demonstrated how their integrated products — SPATIALnet and the Auspice TLX Platform, respectively — will enable: - Real-time monitoring of any intelligent mapped element’s status, such as utilization, thresholds and outages, etc. - Real-time auditing of any intelligent mapped element’s attributes, such as model or ID number, configuration, and software/firmware version - Real-time verification of upstream and downstream connectivity and location - Real-time, bidirectional integration of a map’s underlying information databases and an organization’s business and operations support systems (BSS/OSS), such as billing, customer relationship management, device and network management and monitoring systems, trouble ticket/workforce management systems. Working together, the SPATIALnet and the TLX Platform enable operations staff to: - Proactively and more efficiently manage the health of infrastructure elements and the services delivered by the infrastructure (e.g., a network, pipeline, grid or facility) - More quickly and accurately pinpoint problem root cause and scope-of-problems - Dramatically reduce mean-time-to-repair and associated costs of maintenance - Improve overall reliability of the services delivered by any infrastructure - Ensure that relevant information on business and mapping systems is always consistent.
SPATIALinfo-Auspice Intelligent Mapping Automation/Page 2 SPATIALnet is a complete AM/FM/GIS system that captures, edits and displays geo-relational data using the power of a relational database. SPATIALnet uses AutoCAD Map as its edit client, and includes configurable templates for telecommunications, cable, power, water and gas networks. SPATIALnet can be readily integrated with other Autodesk GIS products or Bentley's Microstation for enterprise-sharing of spatial data.
Auspice TLX is a platform for rapidly developing and deploying solutions that integrate systems and automate manual processes for operations control across network operations centers, remote field dispatch operations and customer service/technical support centers. Auspice TLX has been utilized by the nation’s leading service providers to command and control processes including monitoring the status of any networked entity, collecting and distributing real-time information across multiple systems, and spawning operations logic-based actions on any networked devices, databases or applications. “SPATIALinfo is pleased to partner with Auspice to bring a powerful combination of software tools in a breakthrough solution,” said Lenny Melamedas, Executive Vice President, SPATIALinfo. “Our clients across the verticals we jointly serve will benefit greatly from the new capabilities we bring to the marketplace.”
"The combined power of Auspice TLX and SPATIALinfo will enable organization in a wide variety of industries automate the time-consuming processes that plague their operations control and dispatch personnel,” said Will Yan, Executive VP of Sales and Business Development at Auspice. “SPATIALinfo, whose integration of information database with mapping systems deliver high value, now offers its markets the added value of real-time operations automation integrated with mapping systems."
