FRANKFORT, Ky., April 12, 2004—PlanGraphics, Inc. (Pink Sheets: PGRA) recently completed an update of the street centerline files for the City of Reno, Nevada. The centerline update project involved adding all new street segments that have been developed over the past two to three years within the City’s corporate limits, sphere of influence, and a surrounding buffer.
PlanGraphics assigned approximately 15 attributes, including address ranges and emergency service number zone designations, to the segments, and performed quality assurance (QA) using several of the company's proprietary geographic information system QA tools to validate the information developed for the City.
PlanGraphics also gave the City recommendations on best practices for future centerline updates and data file maintenance.
