Redlands, California—ESRI, the world leader in geographic information system (GIS) technology, announces that Robert Brook has joined ESRI as pipeline industry solutions manager. Brook comes to ESRI from New Century Software in Fort Collins, Colorado, where he was the manager of Marketing and Business Development.

He has seen many sides of the GIS and pipeline industries through experience in oil and gas exploration, pipeline construction and management, account management, and the development and implementation of ESRI industry solutions. He is currently reviving ESRI's Pipeline Industry Group, serves on the ArcGIS Pipeline Data Model steering committee, and is a member of the GeoGathering Conference steering committee as well as a representative on the Geospatial Information and Technology Association's (GITA) pipeline Industry Trends Advisory Group (ITAG).
