Toronto, ON, May 1, 2007 - Avenza Systems Inc., producers of MAPublisher cartographic software for Adobe Illustrator and Geographic Imager spatial imaging tools for Adobe Photoshop, is pleased to announce that effective immediately it will provide a free seat in any scheduled MAPublisher training class for any academic institution purchasing a multi-seat lab license of MAPublisher.

MAPublisher training is offered in computer labs at locations around North America at regular intervals throughout the year. Each course is comprised of a two-day hands-on session in which participants will learn the basics of how to get started with MAPublisher as well as how to use the most powerful features of the software.
Until August 31, 2007 and subject to availability, any educational institution purchasing 5 or more MAPublisher licenses, at regular academic pricing, will be entitled to send one representative to any upcoming class free of charge. Normally priced at US$1000 per person, this class represents a fantastic opportunity for the educator responsible for MAPublisher to familiarize theirself with the product in an instructive environment. The class can be taken any time before December 31, 2008.
The next MAPublisher training class is scheduled to take place in San Diego, CA on June 21 and 22, 2007.
