NAVTEQ(R) Map Data Enhances Business and Delivery Products
CHICAGO, March 20 - NAVTEQ (NYSE: NVT), a leading global provider of digital map data for location-based solutions and vehicle navigation, announced today that it has been chosen by Intelligent Direct to provide map data for their wide selection of business, delivery, custom, and internet-based mapping solutions.
Intelligent Direct, through its MarketMAPS and GbBIS divisions, creates maps and mapping solutions covering the United States, Canada and countries around the world. By utilizing NAVTEQ data, Intelligent Direct can offer a wide variety of geographic map detail such as 3- or 5- digit zip codes, carrier routes, census tract boundaries and more. They also provide products specifically geared toward the delivery industry such as wall maps for restaurants, map books for delivery drivers, and digital maps.
