Latitude Geographics, in conjunction with their business partner Moxi Media, is busy organizing the second annual IMF/Geocortex User Conference, which will take place April 29 to May 1, 2007 in Victoria, BC. The conference is now open for registration. If you’re working on a strategy with regards to ESRI’s 9.2 release, you won’t want to miss this opportunity to learn, share knowledge, and continue building an influential IMF/Geocortex community.
Some Event Details from the organizers:
On the weekend prior to the two-day conference, we’ll provide opportunities for attendees to get acquainted with Victoria and discover the reasons why the city is so popular with international visitors.
During the core sessions, there will be a session track for developers and a separate track for less-technical attendees. Emphasis will be on topics related to the Internet Mapping Framework, but there will be some sessions that are specific to other Geocortex products, including our new Geocortex Essentials for ESRI’s .NET Application Developer’s Framework. Tracks will also include sessions related to ArcIMS and ArcGIS Server, effective application design, system planning, and hardware/software implementation. The conference will include a number of user presentations, and attendees are encouraged to submit a presentation abstract now through the user conference website. We’re adding two new optional pre/post conference workshops (‘Developing in Java/.NET’ and ‘Getting Started with ArcGIS Server 9.2’).
Don’t miss this great opportunity to learn, share knowledge and continue building a strong IMF/Geocortex community. Registration is limited and will be provided on a first come, first served basis. This event is expected to sell out again this year—so register early to avoid disappointment!
