This comes in a GIS Day update from our friends at ESRI and GISday.com - The GIS Day Committee has compiled materials to assist you in the planning and implementation of your event.
A number of materials are available for download to support your efforts for a successful GIS Day event. Below are a few samples of the items available; visit the materials page for more ideas.
Name Badges—New! These will help break the ice and foster communication for your guests. You can also use them to label the guests' materials packets.
Business Cards—New! These will help you communicate with potential guests, speakers, presenters, sponsors, and officials about GIS Day. The cards will not only provide them with your contact information but symbolize the credibility of your event. They are excellent additions to mailings or press kits.
GIS Means Flyer Series—New! This is a set of nine editable 8.5 x 11 inch GIS Day flyers. These flyers provide different real-world examples of GIS. They will encourage your guests to think about the many other ways GIS can be used. The same set is also available in poster size (18 x 24 inches). Fill in your event name and location and use them as advertisements or to decorate your event.
Certificates—These are digitally editable certificates of participation that may be personalized with the participant's and event holder's names. Both color and black-and-white versions are available.
