The GISuser MapKit - Platial is a very cool company with a very cool API. The company's MapKit tool enables anyone who manages a website or blog to quickly and easily let their visitors add themselve to their "place" and even comment about other people's place. We've created the GISuser MapKit where we are inviting GISusers from around the Globe to add details of themselves to our way cool social networking app. It's loads of fun, quick, simple, and basically hassle-free. No personal information is needed, no login, no nothing! So tell us where you are and help built out the GISuser Map. More info on how you can create your own MapKit can be found here. Savy users can easily ehnace and customize their map and the sky is the limit! you can even import your existing user base if you like.
To add yourself to the GISuser Mapkit simply see the lower-left section of
the map and enter details in the "add place" dialog - simply enter your name and
location... that's it!
