Gearing up for AU 2004 Posted on November 24, 2004 Once again its time to gear up for Autodesk University (AU). From November 30 - Dec. 3, 2004 Autodesk will be hosting their 12th annual user conference and exhibition. The venue is the MGM Grand hotel in Las Vegas, NV. Coinciding with the event is the Worldwide GIS and Civil User Conference featuring GIS/Mapping, Civil Engineering, and Infrastructure Management Industry Sessions including Chris Bradshaw, vice president of ISD, speaking about the latest trends. Kidz Online, NASA to trial workers in Geospatial Technologies Posted on October 21, 2004 The US DOL has awarded a US$1 million grant to Nortel Networks Kidz Online, a non-profit digital education service, and the NASA Center for Distance Learning to conduct a special, two-year educational program that will use interactive multimedia tools and broadband connectivity to train workers of the future for jobs related to geospatial technology.
