Most recent, Indiana is taking a bold step forward this year with a new 2005 Statewide Digital Orthophotography Program. The new program will create high-resolution orthophotography for counties on a statewide basis to support homeland security, emergency management, and other business and government applications.
ResMap provides free online access to GIS-ready satellite data. Over 10 Terabytes of LANDSAT imagery is available for direct and free use in GIS/CAD/RS/MS Office applications on your desktop without the need to download the data. Most recently available is an ArcGIS URL pack for the Landsat 7 ETM+ global tile collection.
